About Will Murray
Will Murray was born in St Andrews, Scotland and went to school at Merchiston in Edinburgh. Will qualified as a PGA golf professional at the Belfry National Training Academy in 1996 after having completed his training at Royal Wimbledon Golf Club. Once qualified he competed full time in tournaments on the European Challenge Tour and British Professional Tour and in the PGA South Region, winning numerous events and scoring course records of 65 at Highgate Golf Club and 64 at Reigate Golf Club. He also holds a record of having scored 11 holes in one, 8 in Professional Tournaments. Will competed in the Scottish Professionals Championship with Colin Montgomerie and Paul Lawrie, playing all four rounds and finishing in the top 25 he gained an invite back the following year which secured his status as a playing professional. Now teaching at the prestigious Royal Automobile Club in Epsom, Surrey, Will organises European and International golf trips for golfers of all levels to destinations worldwide including St Andrews, Cork, Biarritz, Sotogrande and Milan.
